Under the Turtle Pro­duc­tions monik­er, Lucas and Fabi­an Jankoschek have been doc­u­ment­ing and rep­res­ent­ing the skate scene in Vienna, Aus­tria for many years now — you may have caught some of their former audi­ovisu­al out­put online before, or per­haps even at some point of Sergej Vutuc’s itin­er­ant Round­about Film Fest­iv­al. In addi­tion to a not-so-slow, surely steady stream of mont­ages and clips through­out the past dec­ade, their leg­acy is not­ably strong of two full-length videos since 2015 — a fol­low-up to which is exactly what will be on show this year at Vladi­mir. Turtle 3 was in the works for two years, also on the music­al side since the soundtrack was spe­cific­ally craf­ted by loc­al music artists and tail­or-fit to the skat­ing. All dressed up by the means of anim­a­tion work hand­craf­ted by the twins them­selves, word on the streets has it that this is the most express­ive and power­ful Turtle video that has been released by them so far.
