Ilija Stefan­ovski — Reclaim­ing the City

Ilija Stefan­ovski, an archi­tect turned mul­tidiscip­lin­ary artist, presents a dec­ade of work that blends skate­board­ing with archi­tec­ture, pho­to­graphy, and urb­an explor­a­tion. His exhib­i­tion show­cases two key pro­jects: “Reclaim­ing the City” and “Poet­ics of Space,” along­side images from the Skopje skate scene and vari­ous skate trips. Stefan­ovski’s min­im­al­ist black-and-white pho­to­graphs focus on archi­tec­ture and urb­an details, using skaters as dynam­ic ele­ments with­in the composition.

This body of work encap­su­lates his jour­ney of doc­u­ment­ing skate­board­ing as a power­ful medi­um that inter­sects with art, archi­tec­ture, and city life.
