A 32-minute skate film from Fin­land (2025), Man­dala tells the story of Miki Tähtin­en as he struggles to find his rhythm after mov­ing abroad alone. While he drifts in solitude, his friends back home con­tin­ue skat­ing alleys, ruins, and malls, under­scor­ing the import­ance of com­munity. Blend­ing poet­ic doc­u­ment­ary with clas­sic fisheye skate aes­thet­ics, dir­ect­or Vantte Lindevall crafts a med­it­a­tion on cycles of loss, friend­ship, and rebirth.
