Fri­day, Septem­ber 23^rd, 2022 is a day to cel­eb­rate. It is the second day of the Vladi­mir Film Fest­iv­al, it is the day that every­one who attends gets to watch videos, hear read­ings, and view exhib­i­tions at Fort Forno, and there’s one extra spe­cial reas­on to cel­eb­rate… It is the exact 20 year anniversary since the premiere of the sem­in­al Slov­e­ni­an skate video Damage.
Dam­age, made by Jaka Bab­nik, premiered in 2002 and made a huge impact in the region by prov­ing that the level of world­wide skate­board­ing at the time was not such a dis­tant and remote dream. The video will be pro­jec­ted in one of the exhib­i­tion rooms at Fort Forno so be sure to take the time and admire this clas­sic skate video.
