August Šenoa

August Šenoa is the first skate­board club foun­ded in Istria and one of a few act­ive in the area . For over ten years it organ­izes the Fažana skate con­test that even­tu­ally became the longest-run­ning skate con­test in the region. Beside the con­test and vari­ous smal­ler activ­it­ies dur­ing the year, the club is the founder and organ­izer of Vladi­mir where loc­al and for­eign visu­al artists are presen­ted, whose medi­ums (film and pho­to­graphy) are closely related to the skate­board­ing world. It became a plat­form that provide access to all the rel­ev­ant actu­al­it­ies of the skate­board­ing scene, and a place for exchan­ging inform­a­tion and mak­ing new acquaintances.

The club has more then 200 members.
