Passing Places

Passing Places is a skate­board video shot in the North of Eng­land by Joe Allen (Troubleshoot­ing in 2023, Pétanque in 2021). Loosely based on a Scot­tish play of the same name, it fol­lows its sub­jects from the sub­urbs of Leeds, into the coun­tryside, and out to the coast, with a focus on skat­ing spots that are off the beaten track. Whilst the crew is centered around Leeds, this pro­ject included road trips to Black­pool, Pre­ston, Salt­burn-by-the-Sea, Maltby, Nor­man­ton and Brad­ford. The video fea­tures Harry Mead­ley, Far­ran Gold­ing, Leo Mer­cer, Dave Tyson, Jono Coote, Joe Allen, Paul Wat­son, Izzy Almond and more.
