Nocturnup by Nick Richards
A video series by Nick Richards, Nocturnup documents skateboarding by London-born Daryl Dominguez (of non-profit organization Skate Nepal) and his crew around Southeast Asia, as visiting a different country per summer grows into an annual habit of theirs and they turn Bangkok, Taipei and Seoul into destinations in succession; all intolerably hot and packed cities in that season, resulting in edits of nighttime footage exclusively.
We had spent a lot of time in south east Asia and found that the day times are just far too hot to skate. With that in mind, Daryl suggested we go back there and film a whole project at night. The added bonus being that the highly congested city in the daytime becomes a hassle free playground at night.
