Born in 90 in Tours, France, Clé­ment Harpil­lard’s pho­to­graphy is multi-dis­cip­lin­ary, some­times in film, some­times in digit­al, and revolves around recur­ring themes such as skate­board­ing, por­traits, travel and wan­der­ing through urb­an spaces and nat­ur­al land­scapes. There’s a par­tic­u­lar attach­ment to counter-cul­ture char­ac­ters and ele­ments. Driv­en by an appet­ite for dis­cov­ery and travel, Clé­ment uses his cam­era to cap­ture new land­scapes, faces, street corners and more. These are all fig­ures that he then appro­pri­ates and com­piles into editions.
